Wetter is Better

FinFanFoam #9 is Wetter and Wetter is Better.

1. Application- Standard dry foam application is both direction and distance limited.

  • A lighter foam must be applied parallel to the air flow pattern, or the first fins create foam blockage, clogging foam flow to the deeper sections of the cooler. The light weight mass foam has a very limited throw distance.
  • FFF #9 Wet Slurry application.

ü      flies farther- can be applied at a greater distance with less walking.

ü      penetrates deeper into the cooler.

.

Horizontal Coolers- dry foam has a short throw distance; requires workers on top of coolers, walking on louvers, with problems-

Ø                  Fall danger.

Ø                  Louver damage- often goes undetected unless inspected, post cleaning.

Ø                  Louver inspection safety tie-off by your employees is often difficult.

Ø                  Safe crew tie-off is uncertain and often impossible to see for verification.

Because the Foamer Z-200 has an effective application distance to 30 feet, application and rinse can often be done from a man-lift next to the cooler.

·  NO walking on louvers = NO louver damage.

·  NO need for employees to inspect for louver damage after cleaning.

2. Penetration-

  • On impact, FFF#9 wet slurry physically penetrates the blocking materials; a light foam does not.
  • FFF#9 flows in sheets with 100% surface foam contact and clinging; dry foam tends to roll down vertical surfaces bridging over areas.

3. Wetting-

  • FFF #9 Wet Slurry simply has more water to deliver at surface contact.
  • FFF#9 Wet Slurry special formulation is designed to break surface tension and accelerate internal absorption.
  • Because of the penetrating power of the wet FFF#9, many vertical coolers can be cleaned from the outside with minimal required time in the fan enclosure.
